Competitive sealed Bids for the AWG INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS Overlay and Shoulder Widening of Green T Road, together with all appurtenances, will be received by the City of Hernando, at City Hall, located at 475 West Commerce Street, Hernando, Mississippi 38632 or electronically at www.centralbidding.com until 10:00 O’clock A.M., local time, on the 25th day of March, 2022; and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

Addenda & Interpretations:
Prior to the date set for opening of Bids, the right is reserved, as the interests of the OWNER may require, to revise or to amend the Contract Documents or Construction Drawings. Such revisions, if any, will be announced by an Addendum or Addenda, and copies of such
Addenda will be furnished to all known Bidders for acknowledgement on the proposal form. If the revisions and Addenda are of a nature requiring material changes in quantities or prices bid, or both, the date set for opening Bids may be postponed to enable Bidders to revise their Bids. In such case, the Addendum, or Addenda will include an announcement of the new date for opening Bids.
No oral interpretation made to any Bidder as to the meaning of the Plans and Specifications or Contract Documents shall be considered an effective modification of any of the provisions of the Contract Documents. Written request for interpretation of the Plans and Specifications shall be submitted to the Engineer for a formal decision that will be given in writing to all prospective Bidders. Contractor may request an interpretation of the plans and specification by email, ntaegtmeyer@pickeringfirm.com, provided a written copy of the request follows by postal carrier. NO requests for interpretation will be accepted less than three (3) days prior to opening.
