A deposit of $100.00 is required. Bid preparation will be in accordance with Instructions to Bidders bound in the project manual. The Bureau of Building, Grounds and Real Property Management reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids. NOTE: Telephones and desks will not be available for bidders use at the bid site.

Bid Submittal:

A bid must be either submitted electronically via MAGIC or physically delivered to the address indicated on the Advertisement for Bids prior to the time and date stated.

A. Physical Submittal:

If physically submitted, only one original of Bid Proposal shall be submitted which should be sealed in an opaque envelope marked, mailed or hand-delivered as shown below. If the Bid is mailed, the bid envelope shall be placed inside a second envelope to prevent inadvertent premature opening of the Proposal.

B. Electronic Bid Submittal:

Bidders must be registered prior to submitting bids electronically. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to allow sufficient time to complete or confirm such registration before the date and time established to receive bids. Pre-Bid Information:

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, 13 April 2023 at 10:00am at the Administration Building, Mississippi State Penitentiary, Parchman, MS. All interested bidders are encouraged to attend.

Access to the facility is controlled. All persons planning to attend the meeting MUST RSVP to Pickering Firm, Inc. via Greg Brown at gbrown@pickeringfirm.com by close of business Tuesday, April 11th. All attendees will meet in the gravel lot across the road from the entrance to be escorted onto the facility as a group.
